Hi everyone its official we are married!!! We had the most beautiful wedding I could have every imagined!! Thanks to our parents!! We were so blessed by all of the people who spent time and money making our big day the best day of our lives. It really was the best day we have ever had and we are so thankful for you!!! When I was a little girl I used to tell my grandparents that I wanted to have a Cinderella day when I got married....and I did! It was incredible. We had an amazing honeymoon in Saint Lucia for 8 days and soon I will post pictures!! For now here are some pics of the wedding!!!

30 Days & Counting!!!

Hey everyone we are so excited to hit the thirty day mark. We are one month away from the wedding and can't wait!!! We have made some changes in things we have for the wedding as well as checked some major details off the list. We have a new DJ, John Laxa from Red Coats! He is awesome. We got our rings!!! They are beautiful!! And....we got our marriage license yesterday!!! Tonight we are going taste testing to put our final food order in and get it all set in stone. We are coming down to the wire and can't wait till the big day!!

On top of all of these fun details Alyssa, my mom and all of my bridesmaids threw me the best shower ever!! It was beautiful and I have such a wonderful day!! Pictures will be coming soon!!

For all of our out of town guests we have hotel accommodations available if you would like to stay over night. We have reserved a block of rooms under the Conley Wedding Group for May 8, 2009 - May 10, 2009 at the San Ramon Courtyard-Marriott. A step for the Groomsmen.

We can offically check off one more thing on our list for the next sixty days. We have picked the tuxedos for the groomsmen. They complement the bridesmaids dresses very well and my gown too. I can't wait to see all the boys in their snazy outfits. Especially my groom!

Our Engagement Party!!

We had an incredible engagement party Saturday February 21 at the Conley's. It was beautiful and pink! Both our moms worked hard to throw the bash together!!! They did a fabulous job. We had some family and friends get together to celebrate with us over some great food and words of wisdom. It was so special to be able to acknowledge our engagement and start the countdown of the big day!!! Thank you to all the people that helped out with the party! We appreciate you!!

Thus Far..

Below I told the story of how we got engaged and from now on I will keep every one posted on all the wedding details. We picked a date and this far that was the most challenging thing. May 9, 2009 is the big day and we can't wait. We have 73 days left!!! Here is an update of the last two months... So far we have....

1. Taken engagement pictures with Mike Larson Photography... here are some of them. Along with the photos we picked an album reserved a photo booth and got to know our photographer Meagan.

2. We picked our flowers that will be done by Becka Howden.

3. We picked our cake that will be made by family friend Angie Zimlock

4. We picked our caterer... with a southern twist. How about some sweet tea!!?

5. I have my gown.

6. We picked our bridal party!! Eight ladies and eight gentlemen.

7. I picked the bridesmaids dresses, that my mother in law to be is making!! They are beautiful!!

8. We have the music to be played in our ceremony as well as the musicians... Dan Gillette, Sarah Burns, Pati Conde, Darlene Tanisawa, Kori Schorken, and hopefully Ryan Weber.

9. We have our wonderful DJ. David Jensen.

10. We have our place. The Pine's have graciously offered us their home in Alamo that we were so excited to accept! It is beautiful.

11. We have found the tuxedos we like we just need to order them. I have a gift card for thirty dollars off each grooms mens tux.

12. We have a flower girl... Miss Makenna Meyers... and a ring bearer Mr. Tate Bowen...

13. We picked our invitations.

14. Set dates for bridal showers, man showers, and bachelor/bachelorette parties!!!

15. Started premarital counseling with the Robery's.

16. Asked Tim Barley to marry us!! We are thrilled!!

17. Registered at Pottery Barn, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Target!!

We're Engaged!!! Our story!!

On December 5, 2008 Chris and I got engaged. Chris and I decided to take Tuck to shadow cliffs to go for a walk, like we normally do. My brother called and wanted to go fishing so Chris thought he would just bring his fishing poll to join in. Then Melissa called and wanted to come to with Tate and Bauer. So we all met about 2:30 and went walking down to the water. We were all just talking have a good time while the dogs were being more annoying than usual. Kyle and Chris started fishing and then Chris offered me a turn to try. He told me to hold the poll for him while he put an easier bait on so I could actually catch something. And I did....he told me to reel up the line so I did and on the end was a dangling little red box. I seriously thought he was kidding so I gave him a look...(the you better not be playing a joke on me look). He told me to open it and when I did there was a perfect diamond ring and Chris down on one knee with tears in his eyes. He asked me to marry him then I started crying and of course said yes. It was the best moment of my life. God has truly blessed me. After Melissa took a few pictures Chris had one more thing to show me. He had carved A+C with a heart around it and December 5, 2008 in a tree by the water. I will post picture as soon as I get them from Mel. Until then here is what I found when I opened my big catch.
